Oncology Nurse (Hospital)
RTC Resources Healthcare Agency have an exciting block booking for an experience registered Oncology Nurse to work in a well-established hospital.
We have ongoing work available to suit your availability. Shift times will vary from long days to Night’s dependant on your availability. We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with the elderly and assisting them with their day to day lives.
We can offer you a competitive rate. £35 per hour

Oncology Nurse job description:
· Develop and promote good communication with residents, relatives, and team members.
· Ensure that the Ward Manager is made aware of any clinical issues within the hospital.
· Ensure that all care given is within the NMC codes of practice
· Ensure confidentiality in respect of resident
· To assist with the delivery of food and drink to the patients
· To actively engage with patients in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
· To respond in a timely way to patients who are distressed (calling out, calling for help, knocking or making noises that suggest the need for support) or seek assistance if you feel unable to respond appropriately.

As a Oncology Nurse you will need to hold the following requirements:
· At least 6 months UK experience within a hospital setting.
· Right to work in the UK
· Be able to provide X2 references covering the last 1 year’s employment.
· DBS In date
· Mandatory training
· Covid Vaccinations
· Valid NMC Pin
