I wish to express my gratitude to Amy for the support she provided to JW. In the past month I have worked as JW’s allocated social worker, Amy has been extremely helpful and supportive in the placement search as well as reassurance of JW in many of his moments of distress. It was through Amy’s efforts that JW’s current placement was got. Although there were disappointments from some of the places that were contacted, Amy never gave up the search and this showed in the relationship of trust she had with JW. Amy’s kindness and commitment in support of JW was exceptional. She always kept me abreast of all developments about JW in a timely manner and it has been a pleasure working with her.

She’s one of the few tutors we’ve worked with that really responds very well to AJ’s needs and gets him engaged having meaningful sessions. I’d be really happy for this to continue for him, especially as we’re working towards immediate goals such as wearing clothing and taking part in activities again following his return downstairs.
