We are looking for individuals who have the ability to work with children\/ young adults in a teaching assistant role, that will work alongside an education specialist, to meet individuals academic needs as well as their improving their independence and life skills according to their care plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This client who requires support is diagnosed with Autism and Learning Disabilities as well as challenging behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to meet the needs of our clients and to be able to work on their education within the community\/ in their home environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can offer you a competitive rate of \u00a315.00 per hour!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Filling out daily visit records<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Listening to clients and providing them with relevant feedback and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Supporting individuals to meet targets and their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Using different communication methods as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7Organising lessons and weekly timetables with management support and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Being responsible for the well-being and safety of individuals under your care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Interacting respectfully with patients and their relatives, building a strong relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Keep all matters related to patients or their families confidential at all times<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 In the case of serious side effects or health-related issues, notify the patient\u2019s family\/guardian and the management team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Observe, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Encourage clients to participate in social, learning and activities of their interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Liaising with management and families regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Driver (with business insurance) not required, but good to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Support Worker you will need to hold the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 At least 6 months experience within UK working in Autism<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Right to work in the UK<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Be able to provide x2 references covering the last 1 year\u2019s employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 DBS In date preferably on the update service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Mandatory training<\/p>\n\n\n\n
